Gratefully Yours

Summer will soon be over. It seemed to happen late. It seemed to happen fast. It seemed to happen before i even knew it had happened. It seemed to happen like a tornado, but a most wonderful kind.

Things are great in the land of AJ. I finally got my east coast bestie out for a visit. We drank, we ate like queens, we got foot massages, twice! (have you ever tried reflexology?!?), we spent time on the coast and a night in Seattle - she had never been!

The annual summer bash was this weekend - camping, live music, fire dancing, massages (two of those as well!). I fucking love my tribe! There, I said it! New folks come in and some folks leave. Some leave each other and the whole group morphs and mourns, Some unfriend me on facebook because I refused to choose one side over another. I care not! The people I am meant to find, I will find - or they me. I am more and more convinced of this over time.

I don't listen to him much anymore, but I used to. And this lyric (from James), always stuck with me. It was only until the last year and a half that I really understood and believed it. There is so much love in my life right now, I am humble and grateful. Thank you for all the positive energy and love (yes, I used the L word) I get from all of you - in thought, in word and in actions.
